The A,G.M, was held on 29th January, Chair being taken by A.Blackburn.
A letter from the Bombay Motorcycle & Car Club, conveyed greetings.
In moving the adoption of the Committee's Report W.Ryan stressed the importance
of getting new members.
The following officers were elected:
President - John Gjers, who offered a Gold Cup to be won outright for a 50-
rnile Handicap Race on Saltburn Sands.

Geoff.W.Liddle. In thanking the members for their sympathy following the death
of his son in a motorcycle accident, offered a Cup to be known as the
G.M,Liddle Memorial Cup for a Novice Reliability Trial.
Subsequently a magnificent Cup was offered in memory of G.H.Blackburn, by his
wife, for a 10-mile Handicap confined to Club members on Saltburn Sands.
Several requests were made for mid-week Trials. It was reported that John Gjers
was anxious to have the Trial for the Gjers Cup run on a mid-week date.
H.Darcy enquired as to what had been done respecting the Clubhouse and it
was agreed to recommend the Committee to consider a scheme and finance for
same and convene an Extraordinary General Meeting.
At the first meeting of the new Committee A.J.Young was elected Chairman,
Alex Thomson Vice/Chairman. J,F.Dixon was re-elected Captain of the Football
Team.
Richmond Meet. The Yorkshire Centre having indicated that they were no
longer interested in supporting same, the Centre Secretary was written to stating
their delegates who had been instructed how to deal with the matter when
brought up at the next Board Meeting and to point out that Good Friday had
never been looked upon as a day for competitions. W,Ryan,, A,W,Foster and
A,V,Buttress were appointed to represent the Club at the next Centre Meeting.
The Meet was held without the Centre's blessing. A collection of £2.5.10d made
at this Event was considered satisfactory and the offer of Messrs Schroder of
Darlington to pay half the expenses was accepted.
Requests received from the Worcester Motor Club and the Wakefield Motor Club
for Motorcycle Football Matches. Agreed that it was impossible to accede to the
