The Presidents Trial was held on 11th Sept. the course an entirely new one
including the Buttertubs and the Stake & Stoop Top, 21 competitors took part,
winner A.V.Buttress, Special Prize H. (Cap) Armstrong.
C.W.Smith offered a Silver Cup to be won outright with a view to finding the
most consistent rider of the year. Marks were allocated for entry and prize-
winners during the whole of the year. Winner F.Shepherd.
The Club was represented by F.W.Dixon in the T.T.Races, the 500 mile Race at
Brooklands, the French and Belgium Grand Prix. He finished 2nd in the Senior
T,T.Race and 2nd in the 500-mile Race.
Other members who participated in the events outside the Club
and were
successful, were John Gjers, C.N.Sadler, J.T,Jobborn and F,Shepherd,
NEW MEMBERS
Elected during 1921 were 40 including Alec Thomson, R.Smiles, C,Mloody,
Mr & Mrs Tom Ainsley and W,Maidens.
