Annual Ball. Joe Hurst's No.1 Band and the Mason De Danse Band with ten
performers each at the cost of 31 guineas was booked for this function.
New Members. 89 were elected including Miles Brand, Fred Hannah, Charlie Barker,
A.W.Brocklebank (Evening Gazette), G.H.O'Dare, A.E.Buttross, E.W. and
G.F.Kendrew, G.R.Codling, A.Nelson, W.Barker, H.F.Houghton, Leo Tilley,
A.L.Easton.
Conclusion.
It was reported at the subsequent A.G.M. that 1930 was not one of the Club's best
years
and members were urged to make a little extra effort during 1931.
